oh hey, that’s actually a really good example of what I’d consider “the mecha-tank aesthetic done right” (even though that’s not my favourite aesthetic to begin with)

metal gear’s metal gears are all designed out, consistent within their own internal logic. a lot of consideration was put into how they move and how their parts link together, giving them a real sense of presence in their own world
